In this message we consider the second part of our Vision statement — our desire to grow CLOSER in Relationships with One Another. Coming to faith in Jesus introduces massive changes to our lives, and one of those changes involves the fact that we become members of the people of God, both universally but also locally. In fact, as we will see in this passage, faith in Jesus means that our life is no longer our own. We are to live fully surrendered to Jesus and to recognize that we also belong to one another. The call to Christ is a call into community with one another — a community where we love and care and serve one another as the people of God.
