In this psalm we are invited into a joyous celebration that grows and swells to include all of humanity and even inanimate creation itself. The reason for this exuberant praise is rooted in God’s coming and in the victory he has accomplished. In first seeing and then receiving this glorious gift of salvation which God has achieved for us, our hearts will be moved to joyous, exuberant praise.
