In this passage Jesus turns from a warning about greed to the matter of worry. Jesus doesn’t offer a suggestion or good advice but actually commands his followers to not worry. But how? He points us to the character of the Father, the futility of worry as reasons why we shouldn’t worry but it is by living our lives focused on seeking his kingdom, that we will find our worries begin fading away.
