In this passage one of Jesus' disciples asks him to teach them to pray. What follows is a brief but incredibly rich lesson in prayer. Directing our eyes first to God, his glory and his kingdom, and then to the very real concerns and issues of life as disciples in this world, Jesus invites us to come to his Father — to our Father — with great boldness.
