As we come to chapter 7 of Daniel we move from the narrative portion of the book into the apocalyptic material that spans the last half of the book. Here through visions and dreams, God pulls back the curtains to show his people realities not visible to our physical eyes. In chapter 7, we are confronted by the horrors of human evil but also encouraged as we see human evil ultimately defeated and brought to an end.
