With this passage the author of Hebrews pulls together a number of threads from the last several chapters and helps us see several key things: first, what the law accomplished; second, what it is that God desires; third, what Jesus achieved. when our eyes are opened to these things, our hearts will be filled with gratitude and we can embrace the call to holiness. In Christ we are wholly holy. Now empowered by the Spirit we can learn to live such lives.
