This short but important passage points us to the tremendous confidence that is ours through faith in Christ. Christ's life and death have changed everything. He is our great high priest who knows what it is to be weak and face temptation. Now, because of the cross, we can approach God with confidence to receive his mercy in the midst of our failures and his grace to help us in our need.
