"Our Perfect Saviour"

In this text the author of Hebrews points to the life and ministry of Jesus as the source of encouragement for believers who face suffering and even death on account of following Jesus. Jesus is the pioneer of our salvation, our brother standing in solidarity with us, and the merciful and faithful high priest who made atonement for our sin, all in order to lead us to glory. He is with us and can help us no matter what we face as we follow him and the future glory that awaits us, far outweighs the trials and suffering encountered in this world.
