In this message we explore the concluding portion of the author's second "warning text," in which he urges his listeners to make every effort to enter God's rest. What we discover is that the effort we are called to exert is to trust in Christ who is our only hope. The good news is that through faith in Christ we are saved, not by cleaning ourselves up. The Christian life is not about sin management but about trusting in Jesus and what he has done for us. Only then will our lives be transformed - because of the gospel and by the power of the Spirit.
