In this message we again encounter the biblical affirmation of the goodness of sex within the context for which God intends it, a covenant relationship of marriage between one man and one woman. What becomes clear in this passage is that there is nothing remotely unspiritual about married life and an active sex life within marriage. In fact, engaging with your mate sexually both regularly and generously is part of a life of discipleship for those who are married. It turns out that sexual intimacy within marriage provides one more context through which Jesus wants to form Christian character in husbands and wives.
