In this message on God’s design for human sexuality, we look to what is one of the foundational passages in the Bible about marriage and sex. What we will discover is that sex is a good gift from God that is to be embraced and enjoyed within the context for which it was created, marriage. Far from being random or arbitrary, the context of a committed relationship between one man and one woman, enriches sex to be far more than “just a physical” thing. It also proves to be something much larger than just a pleasurable gift for a wife and husband in marriage — it is a shadow or sign pointing to the kind of self-giving, committed love of Christ for his church.
